Best Nexus 7 games for Google's latest tablet
Just pick up a new Nexus 7? Here are some of the best games to play on it
Google's 2013 Nexus 7 is a great device for many things, with gaming
being high on that list. In fact, mobile games are probably one of the
biggest reasons I picked up the original Nexus 7. There are just so many
high quality mobile games out there that look far better on the bigger
screen.
If you happened to miss it, the new Nexus 7 is Google's 2013 flagship
7-inch slate. The device is powered by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and a
Qualcomm S4 Pro CPU. The tablet is a beast.

Here are some top Android games that I think any game-loving Nexus 7
owner will appreciate. They all take advantage of the tablet's brilliant
1080p display and terrific speakers.
Aces of the Luftwaffe
Aces is a great game -- but a fair warning before you begin: Make
sure you set aside a decent chunk of time to play, as it can make hours
feel like mere minutes. Optimized for 1080p displays, the game lets
users take out German airplanes and is extremely easy to play and
freakishly addictive. It really reminds me of the old time plane games
you'd see in arcades. Aces of the Luftwaffe can be found in Google Play and is, at the very least, worth a download.
Cut the Rope: Time Travel
Time Travel is the latest in the Cut Rope series and provides some
good, clean fun. Of course, you'll find yourself cutting ropes, but also
dealing with time warps, black holes, and awesome physics goodness. Cut the Rope: Time Travel can be found for download in Google Play. It's the perfect game to burn time while you sit on the bus.
World of Goo
World of Goo is an interesting and odd game. The graphics rock, and
users must build oil blobs up so they can get sucked up a pipe. This one
is also a serious time-killer, just like Cut the Rope. You can
download World of Goo in Google Play.
Anomaly Korea
Anomaly Korea is a fantastic puzzle/fighting game that you won't
forget. It’s your job to lead a squad into fierce fire-fights and fend
off the aliens. The game is fast paced and really has it all. Check it out in Google Play and buy it now!
Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP
Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP is a great role-playing
adventure with an emphasis on audiovisual and environment. In it you
have to use instruments to obtain secret, scary books. You also have to
defeat some seriously scary monsters. Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery is weird as hell, but great fun.
After Burner Climax
The king of flying games, After Burner Climax, is a no-brainer when
it comes to this list. For those who remember Sega, After Burner Climax
was an extremely popular title and now it's finally available on
Android. Like the original, After Burner Climax is fast and frantic,
arcade-style action, putting you in the cockpit of the world’s fastest
fighter plane. You shoot at planes with rockets and bullets while trying
to target multiple on-screen enemy aircraft. The game can be found in
Google Play.
